As we have reached the new year of 2026, we have also welcomed an opportunity for fresh starts, ambitious goals, reinvention, and renewed purpose. This time of transition invited us to reflect on our experiences, particularly the unique and vibrant month of December.

December was a particularly busy and engaging month for the children, filled with preparations for the holiday season. We designed a variety of experiences to ensure that the children enjoyed fun-filled activities and meaningful interactions. Our community walks and neighbourhood explorations, as well as park visits, not only provided enjoyment but also fostered discussions among the children about relevant life topics and their connections to their surroundings. The walks promoted physical health, supported mental well-being, and strengthened social ties. The time spent outdoors allowed the children to further express themselves and deepen their appreciation for their community and environment. Our indoor activities, which covered creative arts, sensory play, movement games, and simple learning, including building forts, obstacle courses, dance parties, sensory bins, simple math and science, baking, puzzles, blocks and dress-up, all fostered development while having indoor fun.

The Buffalo children enthusiastically participated in Preschool Spirit Week where preschools adopted the same theme each day, fostering teamwork, and creativity among educators and children. Sharing ideas and collaborating made the event especially meaningful.
