Hello Bear families!

Bear Den is looking forward to the holiday season filled with giving and joy!

November was chilly, but it couldn’t cool down our fun and exciting adventures this month before we start sharing our stories. We loved saying happy birthday to our lovely supervisors Heather and Jasmin. We focused on community and giving when we brought in guests, visited the community and gave back by spreading some smiles, said thank you, shared treats and art to everyone around us. There was lots to celebrate this past month including birthdays, holidays and everything in between!

Our outdoor adventures were nothing short of spontaneous and child led. As we went for our walks in the village we asked the children to decide which way we should go and which shops to stop at to say “hi”. When we went to the Legislative, we offered choices to the children such as painting, colouring, books  or exploring the area. Sometimes we redirected to follow what children were interested in, like going further across the legislative off Broadway to the pond area. When we were at the park we were always looking for squirrels or should I say “bunnies” as some of our children called them. As much as we loved taking our fun adventures outside, we also had a lot of fun memorable activities in our room. Arts have been the biggest interest of our group the past month. Everyone was always quick to join as soon as they saw us take out our colouring markers. We drew and painted many art masterpieces, and we made sure to share our pieces of our art with our visitors and small businesses that we love to visit. We attached some of our artworks on our ‘thank you’ card to tell our lovely community that they are part of our everyday memorable experiences.
