August was a month filled with sunshine, laughter, and cultural celebration! Our Bears continued their Urban Forest School adventures, exploring textures, sounds, and colors in nature. The children loved collecting leaves and flowers, observing insects, and creating art inspired by the outdoors. These experiences helped them build curiosity, calm, and confidence while deepening their connection to the natural world. We also celebrated Folklorama Week with our England‑themed booth, where families joined us for a cozy tea party inspired by English gardens. The Bears enjoyed pretend tea play, royal dress‑up fun, and creative art featuring London landmarks. It was wonderful to see our children share their imagination and cultural pride with visitors — thank you to Wolf Den who stopped by and made it such a special event! Throughout August, we also enjoyed visits to Small Mercies Café, River Osborne Garden, and the splash pad, where the Bears delighted in sensory play, water exploration, and community connection. And as we look forward to seeing our whole Bear community getting back from their vacation and joining our September adventures, we would also love to see Nathan joining our school age friends and helping us connect with our big friends downstairs and make our community even bigger.
