Goodbye August, and Hello September! The Turtles spent the Summer getting vitamin D, exploring the community, and taking advantage of the warm weather. We had a memorable time celebrating Folkarama and continuing our visits in Osborne Village! As the Fall season approaches, we hope to go to more cafes and find natural materials for our activities. 

Last month we welcomed our new friend to the environment. We are excited to have him join Turtle Pond and we look forward to seeing him learn and grow! To celebrate the Chinese culture at Folklorama, the Turtle Pond room was decorated with Chinese lanterns, signs, and streamers. We joined Buffalo’s to try Chinese crackers and egg cakes, make our own lanterns, and build the Great Wall of China! Buffalo’s shared with us the Thai culture and decorated our own elephant art pieces, as well as trying mango sticky rice.
