Goodbye September, Hello October!
Goodbye September, Hello October!
September was a wonderful month filled with outdoor adventures, creativity, movement, and time spent together as a group. The children enjoyed exploring their surroundings and participating in a variety of hands-on experiences throughout the month.

We spent lots of time outdoors exploring nature through walks, sensory play, water play, and bug-catching adventures. Along the way, the children practiced counting, noticed different colours and shapes, and enjoyed discovering what they could find in our environment.

As part of our community experiences, we explored different places around Osborne, including the fire station, while practicing everyday social skills. We also participated in our Terry Fox Walk, where the children enjoyed being active outdoors and taking part in this special community event.

This October, we will be celebrating Halloween!
This October, we will be celebrating Halloween!
Our Beavers will be doing many fun crafts and art projects to decorate our room. We have noticed how much our Beavers love to colour and draw in different ways using chalk, crayons, paint sticks, and markers. We kindly ask that children are sent in clothes they can get messy in, as we want them to fully express their creativity and enjoy their sensory experiences.

We will also be experimenting with glue and paper, which helps support fine-motor skills and hand-eye coordination. Our Beavers are looking forward to many exciting and creative art activities this upcoming month!

This October, we will also be taking the opportunity to visit more businesses and places around Osborne. Visiting local businesses helps support social interaction, language development, and learning about our community.

We will also use these opportunities to strengthen our connection with the community by sharing some of our crafts with local businesses and neighbours.

📌 Reminders For Parents 📌
Please make sure your child has a hat, a water bottle, and TWO changes of clothes. We are spending a lot of time outside and want to make sure our infants stay cool in this weather. We also encourage a change of clothes as we do a lot of water-play and messy activities.
Please label all of your children's items. Lunches, clothes, and bottles should be clearly labeled with your child's name. Labels help us avoid confusion and lost items.
Please take all milk bottles home on Friday for a deep cleaning.
Thank you for understanding and helping us provide a safe and enjoyable experience for our Beavers
-With Love, Beaver Dam Educators.
