September Newsletter LC - Beaver Dam

Cheers to a new month! Goodbye August, and hello September! May September bring new opportunities, beautiful memories, peace, and plenty of reasons to smile. August was a busy month filled with lots of fun, laughter, learning, and wonderful memories. We are excited and ready for another great month ahead! The Beavers had a great time celebrating our August educators’ birthdays! We wish them a wonderful year filled with happiness, love, and many more birthdays to come!

We had so much fun celebrating India Folklorama and enjoying some delicious food. The children had a wonderful time experiencing the celebration and making special memories together! Beavers would like to warmly welcome two new friends to our family! We are so excited to have you join Beavers and look forward to all the fun, learning, and memories ahead! We also celebrated two of our Beavers as they took their stepping stones into the Wolf Den, and Sabe as they joined their new environment. We are so happy to see you take these exciting next steps! We can’t wait to watch you grow, learn, explore, and have lots of fun with your new friends and educators.

Folklorama: India

Here’s to September!

As we welcome September, we’re excited for a month filled with outdoor exploration, creativity, literacy, movement, and opportunities to build new skills together. The children will have plenty of opportunities to explore their environment, express their creativity, and learn through hands-on play. Throughout the month, we’ll explore nature through walks, sensory experiences, colour identification, and bug-catching adventures. We’ll take nature walks, practice counting, and discover what we can find outdoors.

We’ll explore shapes and practice recognizing different shapes through playful activities. The children will enjoy creating dot paintings, rock paintings, stick-weaving art, mosaics, and other open-ended art experiences that encourage imagination while developing fine-motor skills.

Thank you, families, for being such an important part of our learning community. We appreciate your continued support and partnership. We’re looking forward to a wonderful September filled with fun, learning, friendship, and new adventures!

📌 Reminders For Parents 📌

Please make sure your child has a hat, a water bottle, and TWO changes of clothes. We are spending a lot of time outside and want to make sure our infants stay cool in this weather. We also encourage a change of clothes as we do a lot of water-play and messy activities.
Please label all of your children's items. Lunches, clothes, and bottles should be clearly labeled with your child's name. Labels help us avoid confusion and lost items.
Please take all milk bottles home on Friday for a deep cleaning.
