Risio Institute delivers an accredited distance delivery dental assisting diploma program, designed so students can remain in their home communities while studying. Students complete the theory online while continuing to live and work locally, and only attend short, scheduled clinical training sessions (19 days in Calgary).
This model allows students to:
· Stay in their hometown
· Maintain employment while studying
· Earn a healthcare diploma without needing to relocate like traditional pathways
· Transition directly into employment in dental clinics, including rural communities
We would like to offer a 30 minute interactive session that includes:
· A real look at the dental assisting profession
· Student focused discussion on career pathways and training timelines
· Q and A
The goal is to give students an understanding of a career in dental assisting, one that is accessible without needing to relocate, especially for those who want to stay connected to their home communities while building a stable career.
This session can be delivered virtually at no cost and scheduled flexibly to fit school timetables across your region.
