Inclusive education creates environments where students feel accepted, valued, confident and safe to engage in learning, and where collaborative teams are committed to a shared vision to support students in reaching their full potential.
This is part of a series of modules that provide examples of responsive instruction to support student learning. This module focuses on effective instructional practices that support the learning needs of students and enhance mathematical thinking.
The needs-based model focuses on developing and implementing procedures and practices to support all learners.
The Adaptive Dimension refers to adjusting four variables: learning environment, instruction, assessment and resources. These adaptations are made by teachers to support student achievement in all Kindergarten to Grade 9 (K-9) subject areas and grades 10-12 courses and programs.
