Would You Rather

These types of activities give two scenarios and ask students to choose the one they prefer. Each question requires students to justify their answer using math. An example would be “Would you rather read 12 pages every night in a chapter book with 144 pages, or read 50 pages 3 times a week in a chapter book with 132 pages?” Any answer is acceptable (students often disagree, which leads to great conversations!) so long as there is some math to justify the answer.
