By identifying that a course is part of SLU's University Core, and by listing both the course-level and Core-level learning outcomes the course is designed to guide students in achieving, instructors help students navigate the Core by connecting the dots between courses and experiences. 

All courses that count towards requirements for the SLU University Core must include the appropriate syllabus material for the Core area(s) covered in the course. Content must appear verbatim, but instructors are free to format the content as they wish.
