Reflection 3

I talked with the publishers of texture books. Usborne Korea is one of the publishers I have talked with. They make texture books that coincide with what I want to make. However, when I talked to them, I found out that it may be impossible to publish a texture book since it requires a lot of time and money. That it why I decided to make a book myself.

When finding a publisher, it is important that it is in the country I live in. If the head office is not in my country, it is difficult to publish a book since it has to go through multiple processes of being checked in different countries. Also, publishing a book requires at least a few months to be read and accepted by the publisher. I will also need an editor who could go over my book and check for errors. Publishing a book required more time and money than expected.

I need to find a way to make a book similar to the ones that are published so that the children who read the book will not have any difficulty in reading the book. After finding some samples, I need to find ways to make the book on my own. The paper should be thick enough so it won't be weak to water and so that the children cannot get hurt or rip the book.
