General Roles of Staff and Offices of ZCMC When There is a Devastating Earthquake affecting ZCMC
Initially, help and support each other (staff and offices) in controlling the impact phase of internal earthquake disaster (such as help put out fires; help in evacuation; help in search and rescue; help in medical management; help in securing the ZCMC; etc. – in other words, help in the ZCMC internal earthquake response).
Then, restore critical functions of staff’s respective offices, especially those needed for external earthquake disaster management, example, by HEMS and Office of the Chief of Hospital. Critical functions include the services that ZCMC must constantly provide to its customers, stakeholders and partners.
Then, lastly, work towards full restoration of usual services in the soonest time possible (such as looking for a place to continue service; retrieving database; getting back enough manpower to provide service).
