Emergency Assembly and Evacuation Areas are sites in the compound of Zamboanga City Medical Center where people assemble and / or are evacuated during disasters that necessitate them to leave the buildings.

Identification of EAEAs and Deployment
There shall be pre-disaster identification of Emergency Assembly and Evacuation Areas (EAEA) in ZCMC where people assemble and / or are evacuated during disasters that necessitate them to leave the buildings.
There shall be a map of the EAEAs clearly identifying the respective EAEAs and where people (staff, patients, and guests) should go to for assembly and evacuation during emergencies and disasters.
The map of the EAEAs shall be deployed to all staff of ZCMC through orientation and training.
The map of the EAEAs shall be publicized to all staff, patients and guests of ZCMC through posters and signposts.
There shall be signposts in the respective EAEAs.
Management of the EAEAs
Upon activation of Code EVAC, there shall be a quick establishment of EAEA Command in each of the EAEAs in the ZCMC.
There may be several designated EAEAs in ZCMC. Each EAEA shall have an EAEA Command.
Any line manager of ZCMC (other than those making up the membership of the Incident Command) with training in Incident Command System shall take up the leadership of the EAEA Command.
The EAEA Command shall follow the template of the Incident Command in terms of membership, mission and responsibilities.
All line managers of ZCMC shall have training in Incident Command System so that they can readily assume leadership of the EAEA Command when needed.
The EAEA Command shall have a leader, liaison officer, public information officer, staff for planning and operations, staff for administrative, and staff for logistics. All the members of the EAEA Command shall wear vests designating their roles.
Each of the EAEA Commands shall take orders, report, and coordinate with the Incident Command of ZCMC.
Each of the EAEA Commands shall manage their respective EAEAs in the following areas:
Make a registry and track evacuees in EAEA.
Make a make-shift Emergency Room in EAEA.
Make a triage of mass casualty incident using the standard color tag of BLACK, RED, YELLOW and GREEN.
Manage the mass casualty incident accordingly.
An EAEA may eventually be designated as the BLACK Area; RED Area; YELLOW Area; and GREEN Area upon coordination with the Incident Command.
A mini-hospital may be established in the EAEA in coordination with the Incident Command.
Food service and relief good tent may be established in the EAEA in coordination with the Incident Command.
All tools needed to accomplish the above shall be made readily available through preparedness and exercises.
