What value-addition can you expect at the end of current-assessment?
(Following shall be the AGENDA with reference to item 4.0 of the current-assessment)
If our diagnostic questionnaire for need-assessment is answered adequately, you may surely expect tangible as well as intangible value-addition as follows at the end of each of the sessions/visits.
4.1: In case of On-going Video-Conference, Telephone-Conference or Chat; 'Retainer-type' arrangement in particular, you can expect to integrate our inputs smoothly in your 'strategy-implementation-plan'. This can be an on-going corrective mechanism.
4.2: In case of preliminary current-assessment (Duration: a 1-day or 2-day event) Target Audience: MR & CEO only.
During opening-meeting with your management representative (MR), we will align our comprehension of diagnostics and the need-assessment.
On alignment as above a supporting Gemba-(line)-walk will be undertaken.
A preliminary diagnosis will be made based on work-sampling.
A preliminary report might be made and presented with sample pictures in order to make the report VISUAL and ACTIONABLE.
A brief awareness session of steps and milestones on the possible journey might be possible.
During closing-meet: Evolve ‘What Next’ action to be taken on the diagnosed concern/s.
4.3: In case of comprehensive current-assessment (Duration: additional day/s in addition to the above depending on size, nature, geographic single/multi-location, etc. of business units under consideration)
In addition to the above agenda,
We will take a plant round for a birds eye-view.
We will do work-sampling of the business process as well as of the pre-submitted data/information to assess and diagnose causes of business concerns.
We may be able to give a judgmental score vis-a-vis a typical model-work-place (for the chosen implementation theme such as LEAN, TPM, 5-s, etc. as the case may be in order to address the concerns.
We may choose a pilot that can be targeted as a model-work-place (MWP) to taste the early fruits of implementation.
Concurrently make preparation, create preliminary infrastructure for implementation, form team structure and tentatively locate Kaizen-avenues, etc.
We may make photo-based 'draft' report on above with judgmental timeline for implementation.
During closing-meet we should finalize ‘What Next’ action to be taken for implementation.
