The state of each schedule is determined by its status, presence of errors, and whether or not the entire schedule or parts of it are frozen. All these can be gleaned from the buttons on the right side of the Active Schedules table, that change color and icon accordingly.
Possible states
You have altered the schedule script, but you are yet to rerun the solver algorithm on this particular scheduling problem.
You have manually altered rhe schedule result itself.
The solver algoritm has already worked on this problem
The solver algorithm is currently working on this problem
This schedule is locked because it is already in use and you don't intend to run it anymore. It is a good idea to switch schedules into this form when you start using them, because you will eliminate the risk of exidentaly reruning them untill and unless you first remove the lock (Which should only be neccesary in case of unforseen changes of circumstances (Employees calling in sick and similar occasions)).

Error types
Inconsistency error in the New schedule form. This means that the input form has noticed an error and thus could not pass the script onward to the solver engine.
This type of inconsistency error is caught by the solver artificial intelligence itself. You will get an error message.
The third type of error will ony occur when the solver gets stuck due to an internal inconsistency. Shoud such a situaion occur, you will need to contact the site administrator for assistance.
Freezing
There are two distinct occasions for freezing specific parts of the schedule : 1.We may wish to freeze a certain period on the schedule (That could mean everything up until the present moment(In case of unforseen changes of circumstances: see Freeze workers), or it could mean a certain "special" series of workdays (for which we either require that it proceed under some strictly specific, manually determined circumstances, so specific in fact that no time or effort would be saved by NOT scheduling everything manually, or we like a certain solution for it so much that we want to keep that segment intact as it is currently is). 2. When making manual changes we temporarily freeze the entire schedule.

The most eye-catching element in the table of Active Schedules is the leftmost button of the button-box (In the column "Options"). The color and the icon of the left most action-button tells you at a glance, what state the schedule currently inhabits.
Prvi stolpec
1. This is what the button-box will look like in two distinct situations:
For new schedules you never submitted to the solver algorithm, and therefore remain as yet unsolved scheduling problems.
For schedules, that had already been solved under different circumstances, but whose constraints and requirements you had since altered, yet haven't subsequently resubmitted them to the solver algorithm for a revised solution yet. Perhaps you had only just returned from editing the constraints-and-requirements form.
Whenever you decide to click the green button, automatic scheduling will commence, and it will keep going until you decide to pause it. In case number 1, there is no existing solution in the database, whereas in case number 2, the progress from the previous version (the one reached under the previous constraints and requirements) has remained stored in the database. The new schedule will therefore use the previous version as a starting point.
2. Schedule has been solved
Of course it is allways possible to resume calculations and see if WoShi can come up with additional optimizations.
3. The schedule is currently being calculated.
Whenever your schedule is running, the status button will be blue with a square in the middle. Clicking on it will pause the calculation. You can not change the constraints and requirements while the schedule is running, but you can observe the progress live - through the Gantt diagram or the parameter tabels - .
4. Schedule is locked away
Lock away a satisfactory result so as to prevent accidental rerunning of a schedule currently in use.
5. You have manually altered the schedule.
Whatever manual alteration you might have proposed, you must always submit it to WoShi for revision. Always follow up any manual reordering of your worker schedule by running the solver algorithm. Now, since the schedule is still frozen, no actual changes will be made, however it is necessary for the solver to figure out what your manual changes have done to the schedule. - To warn you of all the errors and inconsistency's you may have caused. -
6. An error turned up in the solution for the schedule.
There is a contradiction in the constraints and requirements form, that prevents a schedule from being assembled. It may be possible to get rid of the problem by adding an additional resource in the Master Data section (e.g. assigning another skill to a worker). Other times however, you will find that the conflict in your constraints and requirements form is internal. This means that instead of a missing resource, the cause of the problem is irreconcilable demands stated in the constraints and requirements form itself. Jump right in to address the issue by pressing on the "eye" icon.
7. An error in the script data.
In the constraints and requirements form, the solver algorithm failed to understand one or more entries. You will be asked to clear it up by looking at certain spots on the form and correct those entries.
8. You are already editing this script
This means you are already accessing the schedule for editing on a different device (or just a different browser on the same device). This, in and of itself is not a problem, but it is still safest to first exit the application on all tabs/windows/devices but one. If you nevertheless keep two or more simultaneous instances of the editing page, be aware, that the one at which you save the last will always override the previous save.
9. 10. 11. all mean that something went wrong with the information flow of the application
If you see any of these, it is time to contact the WoShi customer support team for assistance. Contact us at - info@algit.si
A tool-tip will always appear when you hover your mouse over any of the buttons, informing you about what that button does.
Depending on the state of the schedule, the Gantt button, Eye button and the Edit button are sometimes disabled - The disabled icons will appear grayed-out.
Archived schedules and their states
When you move a schedule into the archives, its status changes to "inactive". Erasing a schedule from the archives on the other hand, means that you intend to delete it permanently. An erased schedule will remain in the database for a little while, so that you may request it back from the site administrator inside the period of 2 months. After such time, the Erased schedule will finally be deleted permanently, and you will not be able to recover it anymore.
