Here you set the daily and weekly resting period. The weekly resting period does not necessarily have to coincide with an actual calendar week, but must always occur after a series of working days.
The daily resting period is between two working days while the weekly resting period occurs after a series of consecutive working days.
Between two consecutive shifts, there is a daily resting period, whereas a weekly resting period occurs after a series of consecutive shifts. If this is left undefined, the resulting schedule might not be compliant with the law.
Things to note:
For each employee, define the daily and weekly resting period. The values in the "from" fields must be smaller than the values in the "to" fields.
Example:
In the above example, employees must have daily resting periods between 12 and 20 hours long. Their weekly resting periods are set to be between 40 and 80 hours long.
