Skills

Skills serve two functions: It's easier to describe your worker demands. Additionally, skills can be traded for other skills. Instead of skills, we could use posts, but it's not quite as great way. For instance an engineer can step in for a technician when there is a deficit of technicians. The other way around is not possible.

You have to input all the skills if you intend to use them, which is not always necessary. At the beginning, the table of skills is empty. Clicking on the blue plus sign will transport you to the skill input page. There, you will fill in the blanks to add a new skill designation.

Active skills

Once all the mandatory slots have been filled, click on the "Submit" button and the new skill will be stored in the database. You will see that the new entry has been succesfully saved, as you are returned to the skill table, which will now contain an extra entry at the bottom.
