Ignasio was the seventh child of Manuel Dublan and Juanita Menez.
He was born in Mexico, yet at some point moved to New York. He met his wife, Jane Marie Manning and married her in Troy, NY on October 5, 1888. They had four children, Beatrice duBlan, born on January 24, 1891. Ignasio Gould duBlan. Carmen duBlan who was born in 1893 and Juan (John) duBlan who was born on September 12, 1899.
