Word Work

Simply put, Word Work is the study of vocabulary, but in the Daily 5 routine, this is approached in a different fashion, where practice time is afforded to create a richer learning environment. Creating and maintaining a time in each literacy block to focus on words is critical to developing readers, writers, and communicators (see this powerpoint)
