iPad Application for Digital Storytelling are on this Listly page aptly titled iPad Resources for Digital Storytelling/Content Creation iPad Apps: this list provides examples of applications to use for creation of digital storytelling. A variety of tools are offered, some familiar and others less so. Some are already available on any computer with Internet access and have now been transformed into an iPad Application. For instance, VoiceThread and Little Bird Tales, already available by opening up an online account are included. Others function as Apps on the iPad such as Sock Puppets and StoryKit. When using Apps intended for the iPad, it is also important to consider if the App provides a way to share the story beyond the need to use the App itself. For instance, can the product be exported to a site like Vimeo or YouTube for viewing there or embedded some way in a blog or website. Check the complete list. There are plenty of Apps to explore, most of which we will be engaging to students and complement the curriculum in some way.
