Suggested Calendar to update the Cottage by Summer 2022
January- several meetings to discuss what areas to work on and prioritize- living room, dining room, bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen, outdoor furniture come to mind. I think going after the living room & dining room would have a high immediate impact for 2022
Feb- pick furniture, rugs, lights, knobs, etc.. for the areas we decide to tackle and put together a budget to be approved.
March- order furniture, etc..
April- June- coordinate delivery of purchases
Here are some initial thoughts-
Living Room- new comfy couches, chairs, rugs, curtains/ shades, lighting. Should we consider painting the walls
Dining Room- new table, chairs, rug, chandelier (falling apart- tried to clean it last visit)
Bedrooms- Headboards, replace twin beds, rugs, curtains, paint. We purchase a new king and queen and bedding in 2021 and it would be nice to finish these rooms
Kitchen- replace counter, paint, new light fixture, knobs, shade
Bathroom- new sink, toilet, redo shower, paint, light fixtures, mirror- this is a bigger project but would really be a nice improvement. Also, I would put a new larger water heater to have more hot water.
Outdoor- new furniture for deck and point, possible propane fire pit for point
