NSW Government announces network partner for the Wamboin, Bywong and Sutton Fibre Internet project - 30/06/2022

WCAG can announce that the fibre project has reached a wonderful milestone:

The NSW Government has today announced that Opticomm Ltd. has been selected to provide the FTTP solution to over 1300 residences in the Wamboin, Bywong and Sutton Regions.

Deputy Premier and Minister for Regional NSW Paul Toole, and the Member for Monaro Nicole Overall made the announcement with Opticomm and WCAG in attendance. The project has been funded by the government to the tune of $9.5million with further funding provided by Opticomm. Expected completion date is in late 2023!
