Coverage Map
The following map is an approximate outline of the Opticomm network coverage. Please note that this is NOT the official map - it has been prepared by WCAG volunteers based on the approximate address provided by Opticomm. Being within this map area does NOT guarantee you access to the network. In fact, WCAG are aware of a small number of premises within this coverage area which for reasons we do not understand have been omitted from the rollout.
To check whether or not your premise is within the coverage area please visit the offical Opticomm site and follow the links to the "List of addresses".
The area shown in purple constitutes the rough covergage map. It does not guarantee that an address within it is actually on the Opticomm fibre rollout. The area shown in yellow is NOT on the rollout.
We note that the current Opticomm rollout has amended the coverage area from the original (shown below for historical comparison). WCAG has been in discussions with Opticomm and the NSW Government on how to address obvious issues that have arisen:
There are some properties within the coverage area who have been omitted from the Opticomm Network list of addresses. Often for no obvious reason at all.
Substantial parts of the eastern target areas have been omitted entirely (eg. Joe Rocks Road, The Mountain Road, etc.).

Properties within the boundary were historically considered part of the WCAG targeted fibre rollout area. Only properties with existing premises were considered for a fibre connection.
