The Isochrone Generator is a tool that we created to view isochrones. An isochrone can show all the area that can be reached from a certain point in a given amount of time. Our isochrone generator allows you to input an origin in Venice and a time. It will produce the isochrone by lighting up red areas if they can be reached from the inputted origin within the inputted time. It uses Google Maps Transit Feeds with the Google Maps Distance Matrix API, meaning it checks how far you can get by walking and public transportation. The darker the area, the faster you can reach that destination. The code can be found here. In order to run the code yourself, you will need to compile the code in a python compiler.
