Pre-Presentation Update

The Move Team has made several additions and improvements to the project over the past week. The isochrone generator code is now functional, and we are using it to estimate the effectiveness of the potential improvements we are suggesting. We have decided to focus primarily on a subway system as a massive system improvement, while also including smaller proposals to improve the current system such as adding express boat lines and Vento di Venezia’s dock proposal. One proposed route for the subway system is shown in the image below.

As the end of the term approaches we are adding the finishing touches and making final edits to our work. As part of our project, we also wrote a script for a video by the Venice Project Center, giving an overview of our project mission, methodology, and results. The final presentation will be on Monday, December 11th, at 10:00 AM at Scoletta dei Calegheri.
