Week 8: Final Blog Post

Our final week in Venice: a bitter sweet time. We are all excited that our project is almost complete, but are a little sad to leave Venice behind on Saturday.

Tuesday morning was the Final Presentation of our findings and data at UNESCO. We prepared for most of the weekend, meeting with Professors Carrera and Zuegner multiple times to refine our presentation. We were the second to present (after the Venipedia team) and feel that everything worked our well, and there were not technical glitches.

With the presentation completed (and vieweable under the presentation tab on the site), we were able to concentrate on the Report and Venipedia pages. Thanks to steady work throughout the term, we only needed to add a few things to the results and conclusion, as well modfiy the Executive Summary. Thursday afternoon, we submitted the project electronically to WPI!

Now, the report is being printed as this post is being written and our Venipedia pages are being created as well. Here is the final version of the Report. Even though we had troubles with the City Knowledge platform, we are now slowly, but steadily making progress with it. With our project coming to an end, there is another group dinner at Pampo's tonight at 8:30: a time to relax before tying up any loose ends Friday before leave...

Good-bye Venice, hopefully we will be able to visit soon!
