Are they really broken?

After a busy week of research and finishing our proposal introduction, we buckled down over the weekend and wrote our first draft of our proposal, including the cover page, table of contents, introduction, partial background and introduction to our methodology.

We experienced some frustrations when trying to find previous work in Microsoft Access. Access files from IQPs from 2002, 2004, and 2005 have broken links to the images, therefore we will need to manually re-connect each image of the 2000+ artifacts within the church floors. We had a break through when we discovered HTML files with details about each artifact that has been evaluated. Unfortunately, the links to the images that go with them are also broken. We discovered how to fix this and tested it by linking to an online image which can be seen here . After we figured out how to fix the links, we uploaded all of the past images onto Picasa online. This way, all images will be available to all of us in one spot and will allow us to link to them in our databases!

Jeffrey and Danielle attended the tech help meeting Wednesday with Ben. They learned how to save Excel and Access files as CSV files which can then be used on City Knowledge platform to upload all of our data, images, etc. and generate the Venipedia pages easily.

Little do they know, we left a message to Ben on the Boston Parking page they used for an example…

Only 32 days until the Proposal is due!
