Come learn what to do with the herbs growing in your garden. Herbalists Joey Smith and Wendy Weiner (http://www.thefrontyardfarmer.net) will have on hand fresh and dried herbs ready to prepare into teas, tinctures, salves and other medicines.

Wendy and Joey will explain herbal first-aid preparation:

How and when to harvest herbs at their peak.

How to dry and preserve herbs

How to make an herbal salve

What to have on hand for herbal first aid

How to make an herbal tincture

This is an informal gathering, drop in anytime from 11 am to 1 pm, we will be at the gazebo at the Eatontown's Farmers Market discussing how we make and preserve our herbs into magical potions for healing and enjoying.

Special bonus: Diane Burke will lead a kids' yoga session from noon to 1.
