Beyond Sustainability: Transitioning to Resilient Communities

BRIELLE- Oct. 15, 6pm at the Brielle Library, 610 South Street, Sean Walsh, ecological landscaper and teacher, will make a presentation about the challenges we face as a society and the ways we can addresses them. Attendees will learn about the Transition movement, which promotes local food, energy and economy as key ways to ensure community resilience. Sean holds a M.A. in Sustainable Landscape Design & Planning, with additional training in ecology, community food systems, agroforestry, permaculture design, and carbon farming.
