The books of Jules Verne has had a major influence on human thinking.
Let's look at one book and the relationship between LITERATURE / ideas and subsequent human behaviour and wars ..... many years later ... 50 to 100 year later.
A Journey to the Centre of the Earth
(French: Voyage au centre de la Terre,
also translated under the titles )
is a classic 1864 science fiction novel by Jules Verne.
The story involves a German professor (Otto Lidenbrock in the original
French,[1] Professor Von Hardwigg in the most common English translation[2])
who believes there are volcanic tubes going toward the centre of the Earth.
He, his nephew Axel (Harry[2]), and their guide Hans descend into an extinct Icelandic volcano, encountering many adventures, including prehistoric animals and natural hazards, before eventually coming to the surface again in southern Italy.
Let's look at 2 major geography/geology clues mentioned above .......... Germany and Italy.
In year 1864 ...those were symbolic words printed on cellulose paper in a published book........ expressing a relationship between proper nouns: Germany and Italy.
In year 1864 ....... German professor --> Journey to Center of EARTH implies the Earth iron core and the North / South pole magnetic fields.
In year 1864 ...... after the journey to the EARTH geological iron core they end up in ITALY ....... ....and the symbolic signal about:
......................... ITAL + y
......................... ITAL + geometry coordinates x,y,z
...,................ orb.ITAL theory of existence ... 26 atomic orbital of iron atom
In year 1940 thru 1945 we see the 2nd appearance of the Jules Verne book.
a) The 1864 German geology professor Journey to the Earth iron core ---> becomes the year 1940 German IRON CROSS
b) nephew Axel --> Axis powers
c) Italy ... and the German military alliance and the new orbital physics theories being developed by Germany and in Chicago...the Italian scientist Enrico Fermi. Thus the 2 expressions of Jules Verne in World War 2 involved those of German or Italian heritage.
Thus the G.I. Joe cartoons in the United States newspapers ...the inside G.I. JOKE --> G.I. JOE equation --> Germany Italy Job Order Entry --> the bio-computer war over BASE 2 ......hence WORLD WAR 2 ...the binary computer science war.
d) below ....the 2 columns, the numeric symbol for Roman numeral 2 ... or World War 2
Thus we see the influence of literature upon thought.......that may be expressed generations later.
Does Virginia TECH English department understand this?
The Universities of the United States enjoy teaching lies and then giving incomplete explanations of the Virginia TECH Base 16 hexadecimal bio-computer battle of April 16, 2007.
Of course, citizens allow this. Citizens could care less about intellectual integrity and poor quality control of the incomplete stories printed in newspapers.
