Inspection, Testing, & Maintenace of Fire Alarm Systems

This presentation addresses the requirements & methodologies found within the framework of adopted model codes and NFPA 72 regarding documentation, qualifications, and inspection, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm systems.

Objectives:

• Participants will be able to identify the relationship between codes and standards.

• Attendees will be able to identify key performance criteria pertaining to the acceptance testing, maintenance, and inspections of fire alarm systems.

• Participants will be able to differentiate the characteristics of the three primary supervising stations.
