Hal Kelton serves as Vice President of Product Management for National Guard Products (NGP), a leading manufacturer of premium-quality commercial weatherstripping, thresholds, fire and smoke seals, fire door and frame excessive clearance mitigation products, and other door hardware.
With 38 years of experience in the door and hardware industry, Hal specializes in fire door safety, security, and compliance. As the founder of DOORDATA Solutions, Inc., he developed the first dedicated fire door inspection app, revolutionizing the way fire door inspections are conducted nationwide.
Hal has also worked with QAI Labs as a Field Inspector and Trainer for the past twelve years, refining his expertise in fire door inspection protocols. In addition, he serves as an expert witness for legal teams in fire and safety-related cases.
A recognized leader in the industry, Hal has authored numerous articles and spent over three decades lecturing and teaching credentialing courses. In 2022, he was appointed as a Principal Technical Committee Member for NFPA 80 and NFPA 105, serving as a Special Expert in fire and smoke door standards.
