a2ps
a text-to-PostScript conversion program
Some general rules:
The full path for a2ps is /sware/Prlab/install/sgi/bin/a2ps
The executable is compiled for IRIX 6.3, so it will only work on Munich
Below is a partial list of a2ps functions. Type a2ps --help for the full listing.
a2ps will not bleed characters off the edge of a page, but may use mysterious combinations of font sizes and word-wrapping to do so
If you write the output to a file, a2ps will keep one would-be overwritten file with the filename ending with a tilda ('~')
Note that long flags have double-hyphens and sometimes an equals sign where short flags have single hyphens and no equal sign
More information can be found at http://www.inf.enst.fr/~demaille/a2ps/
General usage: a2ps -flags text_file(s)
