13-03-2006: Sime UEP’s Cemerlang shop-offices sold out within 3hrs
Sime UEP Properties Bhd’s (Sime UEP) first commercial property, the 30-unit Cemerlang shop-offices in its residential project in Taman Perindustrian USJ, was fully taken up within three hours of its launch last week.
In a statement on March 13, Sime UEP said the buyers had "stayed overnight at its sales office" at Wisma UEP the night before the launch to obtain choice units for the RM368,888 double-storey shop-office measuring 22ft x 75ft.
Sime UEP managing director Jauhari Hamidi said the project was set to mirror the success of its sister townships of Subang Jaya and UEP Subang Jaya (USJ).
“The residential housing in Taman Perindustrian USJ has been met with an enthusiastic market thus it is no surprise that there was a high demand of the limited units of our commercial properties,” he said.
Located between USJ and Shah Alam, Taman Perindustrian USJ is connected to the main centres of Shah Alam, Petaling Jaya, USJ and Subang Jaya via the Shah Alam Expressway and the Federal Highway.
Sime UEP has delivered more than 50,000 mixed properties comprising residential, commercial and industrial units in the past two decades, and has long been a mainstay of the property market with its Subang Jaya and USJ Subang Jaya townships
