Sustainability Fair 2010

The 2010 Door County Sustainability Fair was held on Saturday April 24 at Crossroads at Big Creek from 10 am to 4 pm.

It featured local vendors and producers of sustainable products and services, learn about sustainability theory and practice, participate in fun family activities, and a chance to network with interesting people.

Attendance was free.

There were 425 attendees and 71 vendors and organizations represented!

Door County residents who chose more sustainable options for traveling to the Fair were rewarded for their efforts. Many organized carpools of four or more riders, biked, hiked, (no skiers or dogsleders) on the 24th to Crossroads at Big Creek in Sturgeon Bay. They checked in at the Sustain Door table to receive their rewards! Learn more about the rewards and about traveling in more life-supporting ways here.

There were 31 volunteers on the day of the fair.

Thanks a million!!! Heck make that 700 billion!!
