  • Dryer vents & ducts: Our dryer vent was clogged. I called several companies for a quote and decided to hire Power Vac of Ottawa, P.O. Box 1120, Richmond, Ontario K0A 2Z0, 613.733.2364, Info@Powervacofottawa.ca http://www.powervacofottawa.ca/contact. They sent one technician by the name of Troy; he was courteous and experienced. From start to finish, it took one hour. He cleaned the vent from outside as well as from inside. Costs: for units on first or second floor the company charges $195 + HST. For units on third & fourth floors it would charge $350 + HST. This is because Power Vac must send 2 technicians (one to secure the long ladder necessary to reach the exterior vent and one to do the cleaning). If several owners would group together, they could negotiate a better price because Power Vac's site installation time and cost would be less. I recommend this company. Francois LeBlanc, unit 232.
