Sussex Square was built and developed by Claridge Homes. The company was incorporated in 1986 by founder and President Bill Malhotra. Claridge Homes is active in the Ottawa residential development market, and the city's largest condominium builder, with over 2000 homes currently (2016) under construction. The company has transformed the city's skyline with innovative projects such as 700 Sussex, LeBreton Flats, Tribeca, Tribeca East, and Claridge Plaza 1, 2, 3 and 4.
The Ottawa-Carleton Standard Condominium Corporation No. 725 (OCSCC 725) was incorporated in March 2006.
