List of Owners
All owners can request a copy of the list of names of current owners and their address for service from the Board or from our Property Manager. This applies to Units, Lockers and Parking spot. This is a 'core' record that must be maintained by our corporation. The Condominium Authority of Ontario (CAO) has confirmed the right of all owners to access this information and not be charged for this service. To obtain a copy of this record you must use a record request form issued by the CAO. That is the only personal information the Condominium Act of Ontario allows our Board or Property Management company to share with owners. It is not allowed to share telephone and email addresses.
Also, the City of Ottawa is obliged by the Ontario Municipal Act, 2001, to maintain and make public a register of all property owners names, their addresses for service (for non-resident owners), parking space and locker numbers, and the appraised value of the properties for municipal tax purposes. Sussex Square condo data is freely (no cost) available to anyone. The City of Ottawa maintains and updates the Roll Book No. 020901 17600 0000. The City updates this data annually in December but the taxable appraisals are re-appraised only every five years.
This information is in the public domain and can be used without restrictions. To consult this data, you must go to City Hall and request the Roll Book. The officers will lend you the book to consult or copy on site but will not photocopy pages for you.
