Surinam Fried Rice

Ingredients

1 cup of rice, cooked and cooled

5 cloves garlic, minced

1 onion, minced

1 stock cube, crumbled

1 tsp ground laos/galangal

1 bunch celery, minced

1 tbsp good sweet soy (ketjap)

1 tbsp chili sweet soy

Preparation

Heat oil in wok and fry onion and garlic for a minute, add cube, gr. laos, soy. Fry another minute then add rice and turn op heat to stir fry the rice dry. Finally add celery until heated through.

Serve with chicken masala and petjel (vegetables with peanutsauce).
