Surinam Chicken Curry 2

Ingredients

2 pnds chicken

5 cloves garlic, chopped

black peppercorns, freshly ground

salt

1 onion, chopped

2 tbsp curry powder (Hindu curry)

4 tbsp oil

1/2 cup water

Preparation

Saute garlic, onion and curry in oil. Add chicken with salt and saute until chicken is 'sealed'. Add water en leave to simmer until chicken is done.

Instead of salt you can also use chickenstock powder/cube.

Good with Roti.
