Virtual Meeting 17th June 2020

Wednesday 17th June was our second meeting using Zoom, despite a few technical issues, it was a constructive meeting


The meeting included:


  • PowerPoint presentation on William Henry Downing who was killed in action during WW1. It showed how putting together the different sources available presented a more rounded picture of the man and life at that time.


  • Discussion of the different subscriptions available for family history sites


  • Discussion on specific members problems and possible approaches


  • Discussion on use of group’s website and Zoom
