FAVORITE BASEBALL MEMORY…think it was 9th birthday? Celebrated my birthday …as my dad brought about 5 of my friends to a Yankee game on June 23rd and it was also last day of school that year!

1ST MLB GAME YOU ATTENDED & WHEN…Yankees…think it was 1962…Tigers or Senators?

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE WWBA? Was substitute teacher at William Paca Middle school in Mastic NY and ran into Tom in the library and asked him what he was doing as it looked like he was totaling up stats for his Selden Sounders (is that right Tom.... (*) and he told me about an opening in WWBA…40 plus years later…here we are! Thanks Tom! I had started playing a table game called Challenge the Yankees ( I have included a photo) in the mid 60’s ..it was the Yankees vs the All-Stars…dice game…I found it again during the beginning of the pandemic and bought it on eBay really hard to find at any type of reasonable price….very cool. I started playing Strat-o-Matic in 1970 and was playing in a face-to face league when I met Tom..!

WHAT OTHER LEAGUES DO YOU PLAY IN MLBS…but you can only really have one first league love…MLBS just a little something else to keep me distracted.

WHAT YOU LIKE /DISLIKE ABOUT DMB…easy of play…too often stats don’t pan out as they did in MLB.

ANY PERSON LIVING OR DEAD YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET & WHY?: No going with single answer here…well first Jesus…can’t even begin to conceive what that would be like. I would also like to meet my two grandparents (my dad’s mom and my mom’s dad) who passed away before I was born…all of my grandparents came to NY through Ellis Island from Italy…I would love to get to know them and learn more about their story of coming to the America

YOUR WORDS TO LIVE BY…Would like to give you a saying…but that wouldn’t be a good fit…guess more of a perspective…faith and family are by far the most important things in my life. My grandparents and parents instilled that in me. I would do or give anything for my family. As I have gotten older…learning to focus, rely on and trust God has become is daily desire…I am a work in progress for sure. Oh.. I guess a passion to succeed in anything I do…from life …to school to well…WWBA.
