The World Wide Baseball Association was established in 1978, we are currently entering our "48th" year of play. Today the league is composed of 28 franchises located throughout the U.S. and Canada. The main objective of the World Wide Baseball Association remains, as always, to promote friendship and have fun by playing the Diamond Mind Major League Baseball Game. RH'er Bryce Miller pitched a PERFECT GAME on August 1st in an 8-0 Flyers win against the Crystal City Cruisers. Miller struckout 8 and was in complete control throughout.

Judge wins the P.O.M. for the 3rd straight month. He led the WWBA with 13 HRs, 32 Rbi and in BA, OBP, Slug % and OPS. 2nd in the voting was Clarke Schmidt pitcher for the Hurricanes who went 5-0 with and 0.84 ERA. 3rd went to Chilliwack star Shohei Otani who hit .370 this month with 12 HR

Brent Rooker led the N.L. in batting at .356 and HRs with 8, Slug% of .736 and 16 XBH. 2nd in the balloting was Barnstead's Hunter Greene who led the WWBA with an 0.48 ERA a BAA of .092 and a Whip of 0.59 3rd place went to Ben Lively of Barnstead who who all 5 of his starts in August
