HOBBIES:  Working out, putzing around the yard, FIFA on PS4, fine beers

FAVORITE BASEBALL TEAM & WHY     Chicago Cubs.  Grew in West Central Illinois where you were either a Cubs fan or a Cardinals fan.  My dad was a Cubs fan so I really had no choice in the matter.

FAVORITE BASEBALL PLAYER & WHY     Probably Ryne Sandberg although I was a fan of Rick Reuschel early on because a) he played for the Cubs and b) he was one of the handful of major leaguers from my area (brother Paul and Phil Bradley were the others)

FAVORITE BASEBALL MEMORY      Game 1 of the 2016 NLCS Cubs-Dodgers (Montero PH grand slam) that I was lucky enough to attend as my aunt won tickets through the playoff lottery but couldn’t attend and offered the ticket to me 2 days before.  Close 2nd was Game 2 of 1995 Mariners/Yankees ALDS (Leyritz 2-run blast in the 15th)

1ST MLB GAME YOU ATTENDED & WHEN        Cubs/Cardinals at Busch Stadium in 1978.  My parents have a Polaroid of Bill Buckner walking from the hotel to the stadium somewhere.

HOW DID YOU GET INTO THE WWBA?       Was working with Tony Torre at the New Jersey Cardinals and either Tony or Ken Hand (who was the official scorer) asked me if I’d like to join the league.

WHAT OTHER LEAGUES DO YOU PLAY IN ?      No other leagues at the moment.  Used to play in a basketball and hockey league back in the day.

WHAT YOU LIKE /DISLIKE ABOUT DMB         Results are pretty true to reality, yet you can see how the ballpark factor can have an impact on performance (my home park is Oakland so my pitching tends to overperform).

OTHER PRO SPORTS YOU ENJOY WATCHING              English Premier League (Everton).  Other than that, I’m a college hoops/football fan (Go Illini!)

ANY PERSON LIVING OR DEAD YOU WOULD LIKE TO MEET & WHY?:     Probably Mike Patton – lead singer for Faith No More.  Just a huge fan of his music and seems like a really interesting guy.
