NOMINATING PROCESS:

 

Qualifications

1.To qualify as a builder/member the proposed inductee must have participated as a member in good standing of the WWBA for no less then 10 years.

2. All candidates elected to the WWBA Hall of Fame shall exhibit a commitment to the league.

3. All candidates elected to the WWBA Hall of Fame shall have exhibited sportsmanship, competitiveness and comradery.

Committee

1. The Hall of Fame Committee will review potential inductees on an annual basis.

2. The Hall of Fame Committee will present a ballot of candidates to the current membership who are qualified to vote for candidates.

3. Potential candidates may not be on a ballot for no more then 5 years.

Voting

1. Only active members of the WWBA in good standing for no less then 5 years may vote for candidates.

2. Members with no less then 5 years tenure in the WWBA may engage with the nomination process.

3.  Members will vote in priority sequence of the ballot i.e. with 5 candidates on the ballot 5-for their first priority candidate, 4-for their second priority candidate, etc.

4. To achieve induction into WWBA the Hall of Fame inductees must receive 75 percent of the votes submitted to the committee.

5. Voting members are entitled to vote for as many candidates on the ballot as they prefer to or may decline to vote for as many candidates as the prefer. 

Veterans Committee

1. A Veterans Committee of no more then 3 members and no fewer then 1 member will propose WWBA players for the Hall of Fame

2. In order to qualify for the WWBA Hall of Fame players must have played no less then any part of 7 seasons.

3. The Veterans Committee ballot will be separate from the Hall of Fame ballot.

4. To qualify as a player for induction in the WWBA Hall of Fame 75 percent of the ballots received must include an affirmative vote for the player.

5. The Veterans Committee ballot will be a simple Yes or No vote for players.
