The problem with the raw food diet is it simply is not practical. Think about it; when given the choice I think most people would rather die. Cauliflower? Broccoli? Raw? Yuck!
And there are other logistical problems as well. One is eating meat. Please, tell me I don't need to go into further detail.
Plus, do you know how hard it is to get raw foods anymore that haven’t been genetically altered to give them more shelf-life? I’m not bashing the technology, believe me. There are a lot of people to feed on this planet and food producers are just doing their best to get the food to us before it goes bad. Any guesses as to what must be reduced or eliminated from raw fruits and vegetables to postpone spoilage? If you said enzymes give yourself a Scooby Snack.
So eating raw foods isn’t really the real fix.
