75. Gayway

The Gayway was the carnival ride center of the fair, including several attractions built specifically for the fair. There were also numerous food booths. Rides and attractions included:  Antique Car Ride, Broadway Trip, Bubble Bounce, Cake Walk, Calypso, Carousel, Century 21 For Fun, Flying Coaster, Giant Wheel, Hot Rods, Laff on the Farm, Meteor, Monster, Olympia Bobs, Quick Draw Theater, Rotor, Skooter, Space Wheel, Flight to Mars and Wild Mouse.

The area surrounding the Space Needle was renamed the Fun Forest Amusement Park after the fair (though nearly all of the original rides disappeared), and was home to rides and food booths for many years. A large building, the Fun Forest Arcade Pavilion, was erected and housed an indoor arcade and bumper car rides. Recently, all of the rides were removed, and the Pavilion is being transformed into Dale Chihuly Garden & Glass.
