68. Opera House

One of the perks of the fair for the city of Seattle was the renovation of the aging Seattle Civic Auditorium into a state-of-the-art Opera House. Several plays were put on during the fair by troupes from around the world.

In 2003, the Opera House was gutted and replaced with Marion Oliver McCaw Hall. The shell of the original building is essentially all that remains.
