3. My role in the SAF: Air Traffic Control (ATC) Instructor

4. Why I am taking the Specialist Diploma: To enhance my teaching ability and lesson design with use of media technology.

5. What I hope to gain from the New Media Peadagogy course: How to transform classroom teaching into interesting Computer aided learning

6. My notes and questions:

• Where does knowledge reside? How do people learn? Knowledge reside in the learner experience and teachers' guidance

• Cognitivism: Using sensory like touch- see & feel etc to trigger the thinking process to enhance understanding

• Constructivism: Using past data & experiences- to reflect in order to trigger the thinking process to enhnace understanding

• Connectivism: Using written facts / knowledge- to trigger the thinking process to enhance understanding

• What is the link to new media and new media strategies? New media refers to system available to leverage on teaching and new media strategies refers to how these new media can be optimism fully and effectively to enhance teaching.
