How to embed PowerPoint or presentations in a wiki page

Easy way

Easy method, but takes up wiki space.

• 1. Click on "Add files" link at the bottom of your wiki page.

  2. Select and upload the PPT file

Better way

Google Presentations does not take up wiki space and also allows editing, collaborating, and commenting.

Follow the instructions below or visit the this page at the NIEfolio Help Site.

• 1. Visit http://drive.google.com

  2. Click on "Create" and select "Presentation"

  3. Select a blank template

  4. In the new presentation tool bar, click File -> Import slides... -> Upload and select your PPT file

  5. Wait for the PPT file to be converted to a Google Presentation

  6. Return to your wiki page in Edit mode

  7. Click the point where you wish to insert the Google Presentation

  8. Click on Insert -> Presentation -> Select your Google Presentation

  9. Change the options presented to you if you wish

  10. Save the changes to your wiki page
