In class and online.
In groups of two or three, summarize the discoveries of the previous day's main topic, provide your own insights, and suggest how the topic might contribute to the individual assignment of designing learner-centred training.
Presentation time: 15-20min plus up to 15min Q&A.
Do a flipped presentation with the technologies introduced in the course (or with the technologies you are familiar with) on how you might design learner-centred training.
Instead of a traditional presentation, prepare materials for a 10-15min presentation that your audience will view individually and online. Your presentation may be accompanied by a writeup of no more than 500 words (approximately two A4 pages, double-spaced).
The minimum assignment components:
Context: Who are the learners, where will they be learning, why will they need to learn this?
Content: What will they learn?
Strategies: How will they learn? Who/What are they learning from?
The individual assignment is due one week after the course is over.
Oct 15-19 cohort: 5.00pm, Sat, 27 Oct 2012 (Hari Raya Haji is on 26 Oct)
Oct 29-Nov 2 cohort: 5.00pm, Fri, 9 Nov 2012
