The saloon lights in daylight on a 9V battery. Result. I did some timings to see how long a 9V battery would last with 60 LED's on taking a reading every 10 minutes and then measuring how much voltage is left. The results are

14:40 9.05, 14:50 8.69, 15:00 8.58, 15:10 8.53, 15:20 8.50, 15:30 8.46, 15:40 8.44

and so on this basis a 9V battery will keep the lights on continuously for 60 minutes. More than enough.
